From Tokyo to Narita Airport

It was a 2:00 PM flight, so I tried to move to Narita Airport by 12:00. It was inconvenient to use the Narita Express or Skyline from my home, so I decided to use the limousine bus after moving to Tokyo Station.

By COVID-19 regulation had been mitigated, Narita Airport limousine operates every 10 mins…so no concern to miss bus. I preper to limousine bus than Narita Express or Skyline because of too heavy luggages.

I arrived at Narita Airport (like below)! It feels like completely different city aiport, even with Haneda airport.. Technically they are different cities and prefectures..

I didn’t know that Star Alliance Gold member can use business line for checkin .. will try it out next time.

I received a “Narita TraveLounge” ticket, basically, anyone can use this lounge, but the foods are paid option, but passengers with this ticket can get food for free. Ordered pasta and cheesecake.

Narita Airport to Taoyuan Airport

Finally moved to Taipei.. It seems that It’s  been a long time for taking international flights other than Korea.. about 4 yrs. Tapei was layover(transit) airport to Macau, layover can be used only within 24 hrs. In my case, arrived at 16:00 TPE and took a flight at 15:30 D+1, so it was a great schedule for utilizing layover.

I got off at Taoyuan Airport and went right in without Immigration waiting because Korean passport can use e-Gate . (If you have not registered, can register before immigration)

Because it was a layover (transit), no need to search for luggage, just carried my backpack. Fortunately, I still have the Easy Card (Yo-Yo Card) bought 5 years ago.

Taipei from Taoyuan Airport

Few years ago, I came on a business trip here and took a taxi to downtown Taipei. But now .. I decided to quietly🥴 take the MRT. It takes 160 NTD for one way but it’s cheaper to buy it through kkday or klook than on-site. Coupons purchased at kkday, klook, etc. can be exchanged at the information center right in front of the MRT gate. You will get purple tokens, and you can touch it when entering to gate and put it in the coin slot when leaving.

Taipei Main station! The last time I visited here was moving to Taichung.. but nothing has changed. The inside is still brilliant.

Since it was a layover, I chose Hotel ; MEANDER 1948 near Taipei Main station

It was very reasonable guesthouse (3-4,000 JPY). I was very satisfied for the price because Hotels in Macau and Hong Kong were very expensive, so saved the cost here.

Ximen from Taipei

No specific plan for Taipei, so I walked to Ximending of memories😗.

There’s also a park on the way, It’s called 228 Peace Memorial Park.
